mizz,ive done it on my last 3 bikes (zx6r,vtr & blade) and all 3 of em
looked better off...problem is making it str8 (with tail light in the way
etc)..ill show u mine & u can decide.lol

yup..see my last post..i kno a guy who found one on ebay for $600 aus,
instead of $900....plus it had lights (2 flush indi's and a LED
tailie)...but as i said, u lose the option of mounting a gear rack with
most..

Yep
I did what Phil said same as Flakey but mounted the plate over the reflector area

hm im gunan try to post sum pics of the blade ive done...dunno how but ill
see how i go..wot i want, and this is a serious request, ne of u that are ms
paint handy to devise a paint job for my blade...if i like em i mite use em,
plus ill put sum pics that ive tried for ur opinions...cheers

Hey Mizz ZZR i did that to my zx6r and it made it look heaps better although i wasn't game enough to cut too much off it (slightly longer than FLAKEYs)
i did however get it high enough behind the plate to make it look good :)
now if i could get my camera to talk to my computer i would be able to post some pics :evil: :evil: :evil:
by the way i just used an adjustable square and a black nikko to mark the line(yes you can see the line mark on the black fender)from either side to make sure it was straight and i guess that was it really.

Well i bought these today...

The small ones are for the front.. The larger, clear ones for the rear....

So looks like I'll be trimming up my rear end VERY soon, cause I wanna hook these babies up..

$30 a pair at Action.. Who as you can see are a spew-zuki dealer...
