It is pretty shitty, you are dead right - although some other 12 owners have had no problems at all ?? I lost 2, and 2 came off just fine. Beats the hell out of me really

As the Yoshi went on straight away, I figured' what the hell'.......

Well I have had no problems at all, the nuts allmost spun off in free fall after releasing the torque on them, but I did turn them anti-clockwise to get em orf

Anyway thats pritty shitty if they broke at the sight of a spanner

Oh yes it isn’t gone either, lots of commercial vehicles have the same still, old idea, it all started when brakes where more powerful than acceleration and therefore ya needed the wheel nuts to tend to rotate back on

Well, cop this one fellas, rang the dealer i bought my bike off and he said he would ring Kawasaki for me and see what the go was with the bolts breaking, as he said he wouldnt of broken them.

Anyway rings me back and kawasaki said i should have taken it to an authorised dealer so no warranty. What a flow of shit. I do have a mate who is a fitter and turner by trade so i am going to ask him if he can do anything with my stock can just in case i need it. Will let you guys know who need to know what the outcome is.

that's a crock, but i guess fair enough, they don't know how skilled you are/aren't & have to presume your a 400lb gorilla with a spanner that doesn't know wtf a foot pound is to save his life.

the thing is i didnt even really try that hard. the 10 year old kid down the rd could have broken em it was that easy..

yah, cheddar bolts strike back. Another reason why i've replaced a good number of the bolts on my bike, the visible (and bastard to get to) ones with hex head steel bolts & the majority of others of decent zinc plated steel.

very good call - they have no idea at all.

I am a bit *narfed* at the response you got from the Dealer mate, its pretty bloody lame really. And btw all - I also was as careful as you would normally be when removing bolts, and found it really strange that 2 would snappola, and 2 come off as they should ??

Truck wheel nuts actually. Left hand and right hand threads depending on which side of the vehicle.
