Fast forward to 1972. Pre-900 era (just). You could get a 750 triple that would waltz down the quarter at 12 sec flat. No 1000 cc bike could match that until 1980 ! Plus the SMELL mmmmm the NOISE mmmmmmm the SMOKE don't forget the SMOKE !! clouds of blue Super TT smoke that would leave everyone behind you in no doubt that you were up it for the rent.

In the US as we speak, like 2005, you can buy a Road Racing World magazine, that still carries adverts for chambers ( tuned exhausts) for H1's and H2's. They are still succesfully racing H2's in heaps of classes over there. There are aftermarket companies that sell more 500 and 750 chambers during a year than you could poke a stick at.

If you do get a ride on one , or a GT750 bottle ( they also rate highly), you will get the shock of your life - they are plenty scary.
