Dunlops make good slicks, end of story. Only person I've seen get any real performance outta Dunlop road tyres is "Major Strap On".
I believe there is 3 Version of the Pilots, "Tiggr" had "Roads" as OEM & i was unimpressed. Pilot Powers are a nice Sticky Tyre, But the Rear lacks Carcass strength on anything bigger then a 600.
Bridgies are the "Best Value for money" atm either 014 or 012SS (I've used Both 012 SS are damn good after you get some heat in them) & we should have access to the NEW 002 real soon which is comparable to the Rennsport or Racetech.
I've fitted Hemi's old Pirelli Diablos to Tiggr & must say they compare to the powers & bridgies. Boy the warm quick & fill you with confidence but they do seem to go off quicker & like to sqirm under load.
Last but not least dont rule out the Sticky Shinko's well constructed & heard good things about their value for money.
HTH
Cheers Brett

I'd have to disagree with the second part of this statement, both from personal experience and research into the construction compared to other tyres like the Bridgestones.

I think the BT020 200/50 tyre on the rear of my bike has a 1 ply construction?
Seems ok.
