(even if you aren't the sysadmin at your job, you probably are the default sysadmin at home, so congrats anyway!)

To all non-nerds: Show a bit of appreciation to the dude who *could* read your email if he could be bothered (so be careful what you email!)

C'mon, think of the time most people spend reading their own email per day. As if anyone is going to sit down and read every email that goes through a server

No that's why we have computers with string matching routines that scour mail for keywords like "Paris Hilton"... that way we only have to read the good emails
