02' 9r was rated a "corrected" 275kph But i'd never condone doing 255kph as i'm too light to hold onto it as it bump headshakes at those sorta speeds n scares the crap outtaya .......... I'm guessing.
Cheers Brett

I've seen video of an 02 zx9r doing 280+ indicated.
My 99 zx9r's been up to 220 before my guts started curling.
I had the ol' '89 GP250 up to 165 indicated at EC with my (at the time) 120kg arse on it

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

My ZZR1100 did 275km/h
ZZR1200 does 265km/h
My GPZ900 did 260 once....musta had the wind behind me or something....
CB400 does 180 km/h
Z440 maybe 140-150km/h
Spada does 140km/h ish
Virago 535 sucks don't want to ride it.....
GN250 struggles to sit on 110km/h......not much more than that flat out.
Of course I wouldn't dream of breaking the speed limit...that would be irresponsible.....

I had my 89 GPZ900 up to 220km/hr once, but the model should do 240-250kph tops.
Had my 84 GPZ250 (belt-driven) up to 150kph with pillion on.
Haven't really tested the ZZR1200 properly, but have had it at 250kph with pillion. The thing should do 275-280kph (corrected). In stock form, and between 0-200 kph, the ZED should decimate just about anything on the road, including unmodified bikes, thanks to its awesome mid-range pull in 1st 3 gears, and ability to somehow keep the front wheel planted on the tarmac.
Above times allow for 10% speedo adjustment.

163? in 2nd
195? in 3rd
236? in 4th
255? in 5th
263? in 6th
I can check tomorrow?

Have seen 250+ indicated on my '99 CBR600. Ron was hooning up behind me and swears it was faster than that
I have since gone down two teeth on the rear sprocket to improve freeway fuel consumption, so don't know if that will boost it or make it struggle in top. Only time and a nice long straight will tell, not something to test down Bell Street on the way to Diesels 21st tomorrow

My old 550 Zephyr has seen an indicated 197 km/h many times with a midget on its back. Didn't seem to matter what the wind etc. conditions were. That was peaked in 5th (almost redline), when rolling on in 6th it would really only hit about 180.
My '96 ZX7R sees just over the 12,000 rpm redline in 5th at the end of both straights at QLD Racingway. Speedo is taped so dunno what speed that actually is. Fast I think.
Dude I know got 276 indicated out of a lightly modded 03 GSXR600. And an indicated 297 on a new blade, with apparently more to go.
