Here's a cut and shut form the latest UK MCN. The article spans 2 pages, so there's a bit of the bike missing (where I had to join the image) in the tank area.

If anyone wants a copy of the article PM me your email addy and I'll send you the scan.

Nearly forgot.... Photoshopped.

It's that a faring or a barn-door on the run? Couldn't they have made it a little more 'aero-sydonic' (as me old mate used to say)?

Thanks god it's only photoshop mock up. The slats look awful, the nose is from FJR, the bulky rear end ... I cincerely hope it has nothing to do with the real bike. IMHO the mock up from Young Machines looked much better ...

According to the article, the slats are staying, if nothing else.
I thought they looked a bit shite to start with, but they're starting to grow on me.

From the latest AMCN. Still a mock up, but the best one I've seen yet.

Yamahahaha (sorry for mentioning it)is having their anniversary year 2006 and they say they will be bringing out some awesome new bikes, so I think we might see Kwakka bringing out something to match. imo.
I hope they do. ZZR1300, the new King just as the ZZR1100 was for so long, it might be the replacement for the ZX12R too for a while, that I hope not, considering the ZX10 is not far off the 12R performance wise it may be on the cards.
The ZX12R is just on 5 years old, time for an update not that it needs anything more really, the engine has plenty more room for improvement as it hasn't been released at its full potential. Look at the performance some people are getting out of that engine. absolutely mind blowing.

Anyway just my 20 cent worth of thought 8)

It does cause problems for publicatiosn when trying to inform on an as yet unreleased model. What they tend to do is post photographers close to the factory or proving ground to get pics of developement bikes. Obviously the manufactures ban them from using such pics, so the mags make mock ups. To fool the mags and protect their secret, the manufactures put strange fairings and other bits on to confuse the mags.

It's fairly understandable, if you want the next Kwak to beat everyone else, then you don't want the world seeing it before it's ready. Oh and the grills are growing on me too

The one from AMCN looks good - very Triumph Sprint ST though. Not that it's a bad thing: the new Sprint does look pretty horn.

That's what I thought, based on all the photos. Went to the shop and checked it out and in the flesh it's one ugly piece of shit!

Pretty good link to 2006 models including the ZZR1300, don't like their version though
