Titanium!
It's not too bad, a little bit 'busy' perhaps and those stupid reflector things don't help.
I guess this must be the 2006 blade then, strange doesn't look much different to me
In AMCN today I saw a mock-up of a 2006 ZX10 with an under-seat pipe, looked pretty cool
Also of note (and completely unrelated), in the latest copy of PB from England they speed tested a stock ZX6R at 170 mph
Fastest ever for a 600 (well, ish), so pretty impressive stuff. It was also faster round the test-track than many bigger bikes (eg 999).
Another fast one was a (standard) 2005 R1 which scored a very impressive 187 mph top run.

They just always seem to be down on power and up on weight. I have heard many say "but they are the most ridable" and I think well ZZRs are ridable too, but they aint so quick. You're not buying the thing for a sport tourer for crap sake....

Take a few litre bikes for a run around a race track and easy to ride is not a bad thing you will find. Most ppl would do faster lap times on something that easier to ride anyways.HemiDuty wrote:They just always seem to be down on power and up on weight. Yeah I know what you are saying Hammer, but most of the time when the mags do lap time shootouts, the Hondas are slowest in class. I guess the testers are usually pretty full on riders though....

Yep there are and the times are always so close between all of the top four there is really nothin in it.
Like the zx12 and the hirebus, the top speed of the bus is about 2kph faster than the 12 and ppl make out thats a big thing. Its all BS.
As I have said before it comes down to the rider more than the bikes nowdays.
