c'mon man, DETAILS!!!

What you've given us to work with is to get two cars and say "right, which is faster? the yellow or the blue one?" (we all know red ones are the fastest) without giving away what the make/model/tweaks are on the individual machines.

How is the muffler packed, manufacturer, model, etc etc

The product in question is Micron round (polished alloy) vs Micron Oval (Stainless steel)...

I like the round can, but also want a stainless steel :( Just after 2 things: look & sound :D . Horsepower I don't really care. Enough of em already

Will be purchased from buster as enlightened by Yankee & 636

Stainless steel would be easier to look after java but if round is the go on your bike go the round can, the alloy ones look dull after a while is all.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

so many schools of thought....

Why oval tho ? I reckon the round can makes the bike looks bigger ?

EXACTLY!!!! the round looks bigger... that's why i went OVAL!!!! hee hee... i wanted better ground clearance as well... the oval "snugs up" to the bike a bit more, and i went the s/s (obviously for $$$ and availability but also...) cuz it will not need "maintenance"!!!! just a touch of autoSol every now and then and presto!!! and it is really SHINY!!! well, 'cept for the new color that it wants to turn into!!! which is cool... go the blue (not rugby shit either!)

IMO round is old skewl.. And looks good on the older bikes, pre 2000, after that Oval in the majority of cases looks the goods.

It's a styling thing.. I doubt most of us would get the bike over enough to worry about the can getting in the way. I have round on my '00 ZX6 and would rather oval. You'd have to be cutting extremly fast laps around PI to get the bike over far enough for the can to be a concern.

Javaman,

I would seriously consider the viper can. It is round polished alloy with stainless internals. Mate, I am seriously suprised with the sound of it. Nothing comes close. And is about $80cheaper.

Hopefully i can meet up with Yankee soon to compate it to micron. Yankee how does this weekend sound?
