Yup that is the old GPZ500R that we used to have in the eighties- still sold in the US. You reckon that is old? In the UK you can still buy a GT550 new! (or at least you could when I was in the UK in 2002) Maybe London couriers use the old buses? :)
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

i agree with mina.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Looks alright to me.
They make 'new' GPX250's every year too and I don't see any of you complaining about those. This is just a more practical GPX250 and if you think about it it really isn't any newer than a 'new' GPX250.
If it was out here and a LAM I probably would've considered it while learning.
http://www.buykawasaki.com/Site/PCProdu ... tingId=165 shows how long it's been around.

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Good comparison, except the Kwakka has water-cooling. It's basically a 3/4 faired ER-5 with a rear disc.

And apparently quite a gutsy little motor it's got too!!

From what i can account of history there was initially the gpz900, they lopped the motor in half and made the ltd450 cruiser's. Afterwards they upped it to a 500 and made the LTD500, then they got the motor, tweaked it, whacked it into a sporty frame and made the ninja 500 which has been going since the early 90's at the very least.

Woulda been hell fun to have one on my Provisionals
