Off on a weekend away on the Zed. 500km from home the radiator starts leaking, and I 'm thinking I will need to be trailered home. Couldn't directly see where it was coming from, somewhere on the RHS of the radiator. I leaked more when on the centre stand than on the sidestand.
Anyway, I decided to put in a bottle of Wynn's Radiator Stop Leak. Instant success! So I managed to continue the weekend away.
Now to find from where it leaked....

Re: ZZR1200 Radiator
No corrosion, simply some wear and tear from the inside, according to the radiator guy. Perhaps some crap rattling around in that spot.

Kawasaki new radiator, $750 - $1100 US
Chinese version, $180 delivered
2nd hand from US, ~ $200
Repair: $60 AUS.

Re: ZZR1200 Radiator
Yep. My OEM radiator cracked due to the mounting points a few years back. I had that repaired (twice) then bought a Delkevic.
The Delkevic did ok, but never cooled it as well as the OEM.
I then went with a TEALDO radiator from Kwick, and have never looked back.
