Paul Firkin was one of our guys at work based in Toowoomba and tragically passed away on Wednesday night after crashing his bike into a tree 100m from his house.
Noone really knows what happened yet but he took off out of his driveway and 100m later was dead. Left behind three kids and a wife.
Paul was one of the foundation guys at our Toowoomba plant and from all reports a hell of a nice bloke.
Stay safe out there folks. This time of year it's really easy to get complacent and make mistakes.

I don't know him but he looks familiar. His bike knocked a bottle tree out of the ground so must have been moving along.
