I've got a gpz550/kz550 with 60 odd thousand on it .Any ideas what grade of oil I should be running in and older style engine?
I'm not sure that oils that are for todays hi tech engines suits the older ones.
Any help would be great
Gav.

Re: Oil grade
I would use an SG or lower graded oil, 20W50. Havoline makes one.

Re: Oil grade
Thanks mate.Yeah I went for the 20w/50 worked well.I was using a motul oil that everyone raves about but it was burning it up, really Smokey.
I actually put Gulf western in it and it's fine.
