The riding position is more dirt bike than road bike but with an 850 triple underneath you that is as light as buggery it all adds up to grin factor one thousand.
The suspension is pretty ordinary and feels hard over small bumps even though you can bottom it without too much drama. In order of money spent...Fender eliminator, pick up knobs, radiator guard (all ordered), Ohlins or equivalent front and back to be organised this week. That's about it, I don't know that I'll worry about exhaust, unless I have $1000 to throw away the stocker sounds pretty good and I don't mind a bit of stealth.
It is a license loser though if you're not careful. It's got so much torque and is so light that just a little punch out of a corner has you in "go straight to jail" territory in no time.
The stock Dunlop D214's seem a pretty decent albeit somewhat soft tyre as well.
It all adds up to a sensational little bike that will keep you smiling for days. Can't wait for the next ride.
Nice ride mate, I too have been unfaithful I was looking at the MT09 and the BMW S1000r but I finished up buying this.
The 12 is having a little holiday at the moment, This is such a great bike to ride and always puts a smile on my dial.

Thanks Pete. I just ordered a set of rear stand spool pickups so I can use my front stand as a rear for it.
Cheers
