New to KSRC Forum

Post by AntG »

Hi everyone, new to the forum so thought I'd introduce myself. I recently purchased a 2009 Z750 with just under 4000k's on the odometer. I've previously owned a poor mans ducati (sv650s), a 2000 model ZX6-R that I purchased brand new and my first bike was a Honda CBR250RR. I sold my SV to purchase the Z due to an injury to my hand which made the SV very painful to ride due to the riding position. The only gripe I have with the Z is its not a quick job to check the coolant level like the SV, other than that, love it! Only mods I've done to date is a single seat cowl and an Evotech Performance radiator guard which I had to cut down to make it fit properly. Will post a pic of my bike later on.

Pic of my bike taken a few weeks ago, single seat cowl and radiator guard weren't fitted at this stage. Next on the list is an exhaust upgrade, just a little unsure about disconnecting the exhaust valve.

Welcome!

Exhaust valve will be fine but you'll probably get an FI warning light flashing. You can get an plate which sits on the actuator which stops it going outside normal range of motion and stops FI light.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Been having a bit of a look around the forum in the little time I have spare between work and two daughters under 6 :D One more thing can anyone recommend a good tail tidy for the Z750 now that legislation has changed?
