Hi new owner from Brisbane

Post by Jbak »

Hi lads and ladies,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum before I go poking my nose around.
New owner of Ninj 2008, picked it up off gumtree today for a nice price.
I'm a virgin rider and not familiar with any bikes. On the run up from the goldcoast to bris the bike felt great handled really nicely and had plenty of power to keep up with hwy traffic. I am very happy with my purchase and glad to be among you all. I look forward to learning heap from you all.
Cheers!

Thanks Glenn, pleasure to be here :)

Just a quick question if anyone can help (didn't want to start a new thread for a small Q)

Twice I've jumped off my bike and turned ignitition off and I've noticed what sounds like a fan towards the front of the bike, is this normal? It's not the fuel pressure noise, definitely sounds like a fan.

Forgot to mention above it's just a little 250.

Welcome! There's no such thing as 'too small an issue for a new thread' :D

Ask as many questions as you can because every bit of good knowledge you can put into practice gives you less chance if fucking up on the road :)
