Took me a while to organise a helper and get some time to do it but the engine is finally back in the bike. Now all i have to do is everything!

spent all weekend putting the bike back together ( I had to tear down the gearbox again because one of the selector forks was in wrong and I couldn't get gears 2-6 hahah). Once it was together I didn't have any spare bolts or electrical leads. However it makes a weird noise when I try to start it :S it sounds like something is hitting even though its in neutral. I have a feeling that the problem is in the clutch (which doesn't make sense I know)

Also, funny story. When I put a piece of wood through the back wheel to tighten the clutch I forgot about the valve on the tire. You can guess what happened next...

Bought a new clutch cable as the old was adjusted to the end and wasn't able to fully disengage the clutch. Hopefully problem solved.

Replaced all the gaskets and have torque the clutch springs to ~8.8Nm with a small torque wrench that i bought especially for that job (and also because i came with a set of hex head socket bits).

Also changed the oil and filter. Mechanic did that thing where they tighten the oil filter too much so I had to put a screw driver through it to unscrew it. The oil is so new its clearer than the sight glass.

Cant wait for the new clutch cable to arrive so i can ride
