Hey guys after not riding for a while decided to finally take the bike out for a run in the nasho with a mate after stopping at bald hill for a chat went to get back on the bike and start it but she wouldnt start .Noticed there was a pic of a key flashing on the screen tried a few times with it turning over but not firing and decided to leave it for a bit before going to get the trailer...Decided to try one last time and the flashing key was gone and she started....Is this an issue with the key or the immobilizer
Probably corrosion on the key and the lock barrel ....
cos you don't get the thing out often enough ....
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

I think I remember mine flashing when I turned the key position to on but it hadnt cranked over. Could be wrong. Id be more concerned why she wouldnt start tbh!

It's one or the other.....perhaps even unplug the immobiliser & then reconnect ?
Have you got a spare black key ?.....try that.
Have you got the master(red) key ?....try that.
