80's Ninja Wanted for add - $300.!!!!

Post by MadKaw »

Just got this, and for all you doubters out there the last person that replied to one of these was given quite a few bucks for there trouble (it was the ST George add)..

Hello,

My name if Daniel, I work for Film Cars Australia.. We supply "on screen" vehicles for film and television.

I require a 1980's (any year in that decade) ninja, for a commercial next week. It must be capable of popping a wheelie, to be ridden and stunted by a professional stunt man.

The shoot is next Thursday (6th feb) in Sydney's northern beaches.

I had a bike lined up but the driver had an accident yesterday and totalled his bike, so I'm a bit desperate for help.... I'm hoping you may have some members in your club that own 80's ninjas and might be interested.

We can offer $300 to the owner for usage on the day.

If you could possibly call me and hopefully point me in the right direction, id be extremely grateful. Given that it's for next week, I'm ideally hoping to lock something in today or tomorrow at the latest.

Thanks for your time

Warm regards
DJ

There's a nice looking GPZ900 sitting at Glenn's at the moment.

Mine currently has no wheels on it, besides I don't know that I'm all that keen on the "stunt dude wants to wheelie it" thing. I'm happy to volunteer someone else's bike though :)

Put someone on it with testicles larger than peanuts and it would probably do the trick :P

For $300..? Not sure I'd do it without knowing for sure what 'stunts' will be performed. Say he pops a wheelie and lands it hard, there goes fork seals... or does God knows how many burn outs to get a cool shot and there goes a rear tire. Not worth it IMHO.
