Not sure if right spot but jakewilson.com review

Post by Clarkixlc »

So like some people I can't afford $500-$600 dollar a set if tyres here in OZ. So I went on a search for some reveiws ect. Found that I was going to give the shinko ravens a go.

Found that jakewilson.com was the cheapest AND shipped to OZ.

Last Thursday afternoon 14/11 (OZ time) placed an order. Today 19/11 it arrives. Rediculously fast shipping. Especially on an item that bulky.

I haven't got the tyres fitted yet. That's planned this weekend so then I can see what the tyres are like.

But just massive props for a company in the US to be able to have something shipped and delivered in basically 2 working days to OZ is brilliant.

And for $260 aud shipped to my door it makes it really hard to buy locally.

I know a few that buy through that site and have always had good feedback about it, I've never bought tyres o/s though.

I have experienced shops refusing to fit tyres not purchased there though.

I've also bought heaps of tyres from them and have never had a problem. Local bike shops won't fit them but the local independent mechanic fits them for $20.

Yeh I'm gonna call up my independent tomorrow to see what he says. If not I'll just find someone that will.
