Not really mate. I've never lived in a trailer park despite me being trash.........mick_dundee wrote:I'll take that offer up thanks, but you switched caravan parks haven't you?Strika wrote:Come over when you get the DL and we can get it set up for you.

I was in a state forest, but am now living up the back of a mate's farm in Snobs Ck near Eildon. Txt or pm me when you want to do it. I'll have to supervise you with my tools, ad I struggle to twirl spanners still Mick.

Just finished my medical assessment. All looks good according to the gut I spoke to. He said it will take a few months to process though. So hopefully will have some income by Feb. No Xmas pressies for any of you this year sorry......

Re: Up your date
Hi again everyone. I received a phone call at 5.30pm yesterday from Centrelink. I was expecting the caller to provide yet another hoop for me to jump through. However, this time it was incredibly relieving news.
I am now officially a pensioner. So bring on the grandpa and old man jokes........
1st payment is scheduled for next Friday. They are backpaying me to mid Sept.
I have texted or pm'd those who have leant me large sums of money asking for bank details so I can start repaying their incredible generosity. If I have forgotten anyone I apologise, but as you know, there are periods where I couldn't tell you what year it is, let alone who helped me out. So I'd that's you, please pm, text, email me yr details and I will start repayments once some funds hit my account.
Just a heads up though, I may be off the grid with phone/internet from Monday till some funds hit Friday.
The upside of all this, is the WSBK's in Feb will be financially possible. As long as the health allows, ill be there. Might need someone to pillion me from corner to corner though...... Who's got soft suspension and a big arse seat?

Re: Up your date
Awesome news Marty!
That's good they are back paying you as well.
Just a thought..... Why don't you not worry about the paying people back or at least not for long time until your really on your feet.
Everyone helped you because they wanted to, not because they expect it back.

Now you're a pensioner, you'll be able to afford Whiskas Tuna in Aspic instead of fresh rabbit & venison
.
Like Glenn, I'm also happy to chuck you on the pillion seat of the REX, or better yet, you can drive and I'll pillion and you can scrub the legs off the Metzler elephants to give me some street cred
