Online insurance estimates
Online insurance estimates
Hi all,
Anyone know of any insurance companies other than NRMA who'll do estimates online for bikes?
I quit work (moving somewhere else) last week, and with a week off between jobs I'm finally going to go and do QRide, woohoo! I have to give 2 weeks notice, so I figure I should do some research on the net in quiet times at work (in between writing documentation, argh!) - only to find most places don't seem to include bikes in the online estimate whatchamacallits.
Cheers,
Danny

The Shannons website lets you enter all the details and provides a number straight away. From memory the Arista one gets you to fill in a form that they will then send you an email quote from within a day or so. They are the only ones I have looked at online.

Thanks Mick, will give those a go.
RG - I'm a 25 year old male, rating 2 (I think!) on car insurance with CGU. Everything else fairly standard.
Looking at everything from a ER-5/GS500 type of thing, to an SV650 (I wish - probably can't afford one!) to a ZZR or YZF 600... Depends on what I find after I have a license.

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

Yep, Spewsukis and a Yamahaha... Although I haven't actually made a trip out to a dealer to take a look in person at those, so it's entirely possibly I won't be able to stand the sheer horribleness of a non-Kwaka!
