Not a Kwaka but......

Post by Glen »

This looks like it would be fun.....

When does our resident road tester Wattster get a run on one of these?
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

I like it, see how you can add a screen, and how much better does it look with it (not to mention the Akra).

When are Kawasaki going to understand that to compete with the euros these days they need to start with a 10 and rip the plastic off :?

Yep good point.

I'd love to walk into a BMW dealer and say "I'll have a white one with the lot thanks"

One day 8) . I've gone off Ducs. I was talking to a guy up the old road on Saturday who had just bought a S1000RR after getting rid of his 848.

His comment on the 848 "nice bike but the greatest heap of crap he'd ever owned", just continually gave him problems and cost a bomb to get half sorted, the last time it crapped it self he walked into Frasers with it on a trailer and told them to do what they want with it because that afternoon they were going to be trading it on the Beemer :)

I can see why they've dulled the power down.
The S1000RR has a manic top end, hardly useful on a naked road bike.
They've probably aimed it more for midrange and torque.
Which is what the KTM has in buckets

I saw this a week or so ago, & I thought thats great, BUT add all the options & see what the price comes up too!!
I think its got enough power, our new Ninja & Z 1000 have plenty of hp, fit an Akra & retune & your looking at close to those power figures.
Price in the options & I think the Ninja/Z1000 is still great value.. ;)
