It depends. My 7 has two names. If I'm doing work on it I'll occasionally call it by its native American name Owyacarn, or if I'm riding I'll call out its Japanese name, Fuk Ang Orsum.

My ZX10 is called the 10, my ZRX is called the rex, my TE511 is called the dirt bike and my RD350LC is called the LC. Leanne's ZX6 is called the 6, her ZX10 is called her 10 or her roadie, her KLX is called the KLX and her RS125 is called the 125; so I guess not everyone personifies their bikes after all. ;)

I'm guilty of naming my bikes. I'll even name other bikes if they hang around long enough.

First 6: Charlie
The 636: Genki
The '08 tracky: Typhynny (she was my trailer park girl)
The '06 tracky: Yoshi
The Z750: Kwak (I didn't name him - he was already named when I bought him)

I also named Dave's 9 "Blaze" (but that was posthumously, after the Putty BBQ, before that, it was just "The 9"). And his current 9 is called "Uug" (as in 'cavemen grunt')
Road: 2005 ZX10R - not named yet
Road: 2008 Z750 - Kwak
Track: 2006 ZX6R - Yoshi (with a very Genki undertail)

My ZRX has 2 names. My wife calls it 'The Mistress' and i call it the 'Lemon'.

If i spent as much on my wife as I have on the bike, I'd never be in trouble.....
