Turned out he had no spacers in the front wheel for the first race as well, which he was in 4th place in front of Olsen on the Factory Yam for the first few laps, he also set a pb of 1.32.4 and was only .5 of the fastest time of the day. It had some front end shudder but then blew a fuse and shut down.
The 2nd race the spacer problem became more evident, with the shudder that bad, he lost the front brakes.
Went in leading B grade by 19 points, but the 2 dnf's cost him 50 points....
Sounds like he needs the TAOF pit bitches on duty............. Now leaving Brake pad pins loose is perfectly understandable but the TAOF pit bitches never would have left the wheel spacers out........we'll not by accident anyway
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Now now, that was only to test corner entry speed into turn 4... and was during practice so completely acceptable .
I double checked them before every race after that (same with tyre warmers, fuel level, water hoses and tyre pressures - you learn from those mistakes.... )
