Only taken the TAC about 15 years to get their shit together, after much criticism and talking too by the MRA, VMC, Stop Smidsy campaign and many others.. better late than never though..

The Perfect Ride is launched today.

The TAC today launched a new motorcycle safety campaign which highlights the perfect weekend ride and aims to keep motorcyclists safe on the roads.

The campaign reminds riders that no matter how experienced a rider you are, it's always worth brushing up on your skills at spokes.com.au

In a series of tutorials, Rick, a rider trainer for 7 years takes a few mates for a weekend ride down the Great Ocean Road and helps them navigate around the various hazards they encounter on the ride.

More than 80% of motorcyclists say they ride for recreation on the weekends, particularly in the summer months.

It's also a timely reminder for all riders and drivers as the weather warms and the motorcycling season sees more bikes out on road enjoying the roads.

You can view the new campaign online and check out all the supporting material at www.spokes.com.au

Safe riding.

The Spokes Team.
