4wd driver behaviour

Post by sunshine »

headed out for a ride yesterday morning with a mate ... early start , dry conditions , looking a for a gr8 day :D
after fueling up , began the ride .... headed in to a nice piece of road ... getting some steam up we approached a 90* corner and sailed through

only to be confronted by 4wd ...flashing lights ...not content with alerting us to the fact ..he thought we were endangering him or his 4wd
but he then proceeds to serve into our lane ...

now my mate and I are by no means ...:café racers and boy racers ...perhaps mamils ....middle age men in leather
but these fuktards aiming their 4wd into our laneway ... wasn't called for
is this the norm for most 4wd drivers ?

cheers Mick

in Victoria..pretty much YES! (in my experience)
and as recently as Saturday I ended up driving up the footpath (I was in the car in a local street) to avoid having a
a head-on collision with a large 4WD which decided they would swing onto the wrong side of the road, my side of the road
...BEFORE making a left hand turn.

just remember..the bigger the 4WD or the more spotlights/bigger wheels/more bling the worse they are
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

I didn't realise I had to start driving like a dick because I have 37 inch tyres. Thanks for letting me know.

nup, sydney is just as bad, and it seems the smaller the woman, and the more ethnic she is, is proportionate to how bad the driving is.

Funny how someone has an incident with a 4WD......... and all of a sudden every 4WD owner is tarred with the same brush

A bit like truck drivers I guess......... they're all cowboys ;)

Nobody is disputing that this guy was a total fucktard mate. Using you vehicle as a weapon is a dickhead move and he should have his licence taken off him. I'm glad you got out of this situation unscathed. I'm not surprised you're frothing at the mouth angry. I would be too.

But all that means is that *this* guys is a fucktard. Not all 4WD drivers. And it's pretty ridiculous that you've reached middle age, yet still asked if this was the norm for 4WD drivers to be honest.

I've got a fourby because I need one to tow my boat but I agree a lot of the drivers of them are fucktards, usually the knobs who are pretend warriors with the stupidly raised things with mud tyres on the road.

Good to see no stereotypes.

Seriously just because you drive a 4wd or bike or a car or born in the subcontinent doesn't mean anything.

Funny how we bitch when the media portray motorcyclists as hoons
