What is the best mounting option for gopro
What is the best mounting option for gopro
Hey all,
Just wondering from experience which mounting option is the best for the go pro.
I will probably mainly use it on the dirty seeing as most racetracks don't like you filming these days....

Chest harness - just above your sternum.
Footage looks great with your arms appearing in front of you from each side of the screen like a first person POV video game.

Thanks Rob.robracer wrote:Helmet, on the side
Wouldn't it be better on the top?
What's the thought process behind the side and which side.
Re: What is the best mounting option for gopro
Yep that's a thought. It could look pretty schmick.kawasinley wrote:Chest harness - just above your sternum.

Perhaps I spend to much time riding and no time playing video games, but what's a POV video game??

Ive got mine on the dirty helmet. I generally leave the tip of the visor in shot, adds a bit of perspective.
It also allows for shooting backwards as well.
Cheers

I like side of helmet... to keep the angle as low and realistic as possible. Not the biggest fan of that 'top of the world' view.

I don’t care how liberated this world becomes – a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume – and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.
