Really............can anyone explain the price difference? :kuda:
Reckon the $2 bag would be cheap shit, go the quality stuff
Actually the expensive one could be stable manure and the cheap one unstable

Talk about stating the obvious..........
What's with this Falling Rock sign, an English lesson or something........
Obviously once a "falling rock" comes to rest it is no longer a "falling rock", it then becomes a "fallen rock"
But why do we need to be reminded of this  ;)

The English is fine, they are actually saying that falling rocks do not stop, thus they never become fallen

Council workers are "fixing the drain gully on side of our road. It takes them weeks to do what a half a day solid work would achieve.
They have all the equipment you could immagine.

It's painful to watch from a distance how lazy grown man can be, and we're paying for their laziness.

A couple of them arrived here around 7am, put the "workman ahead" yellow signs out at both end of the road, now they have just finished morning tea/breakfast , it's 9.15 am and they contemplating doing some work. Up 'till now they had the hazard light flashing.... that was it.

a different species all together  leeches of society, no pride, no achievement, no nothing .....

Work Glenno . AusAid gave finance for household Rainwater catchments to the RMI government for delivery to Ebeye Island . The first time AusAid did this it was a clusterfuck as there was no direct Australian management .
Second aid allocation had my company contracted to send an advisor on installation of the gutters , downpipes with what is called a first flush system and rainwater tanks . And to try and rescue as much as possible of the first aid project .

That would be me . :D
It would not be wise for me to rant away about the whole thing , but Australia shouldn't send a cent to the Marshall Islands . And it is probably the same in a lot of Aus foreign aid programmes .
Ummmm let me see

I know that "politics" is a NO NO on the forum, but the other day when the televised debate was on between the leaders of the two major parties, it has occurred to me that there isn't a single day without someone(s) being stabbed, king hit, murdered shot etc....

Not one of the parties mentioned making the country a safer place to live in, by revising our laws to suit the crimes of these mofos.

Isn't this a burning issue? :kuda:

fmd!

i thought pirates, bushrangers and other obvious thieves were hunted out of existence ages ago, but this either takes the cake, or brings it to a new modern level!

i stupidly lost the little door off the side off my gopro today. doesnt hurt it, just sh1ts me.
so i check evilbay to see if there are ones on there, yes but in a genuine kit.
ok i thinks to myself, what is the genuine price from the website.
so on i go, and it is cheaper than fleabay, you little ripper!
but, i ponder, is the price in us or australian dollars. impossible to figure out, until to you get to the last part of the checkout.
phew, its in ozzy peso!
so i then get to the freight charge.

now, you need to know the door is 1.5 inches by .75 inches and less than .25 inches thick; and weighs seven tenths of bugger all. even the kit, that contains 2 lens caps and the door is no bigger than 4 inches square and 1/2 inch thick and weighs less than 50 grams.

so can anyone who is not on really heavy drugs or visiting from another planet explain this?

Image

ok, i realise not all of us have good eyes, and it took me several attempts to find this; and i was looking for it!
so here it is again, with the nasty bit circled

Image

eighty four frigging dollars and ninety five bloody cents!
to freight a package 4 inches square 1/2 inch thick and weighing less that 50 grammes!

to borrow a phrase of those boys of blighty, "der 'avin' a laff!"
and i'm wondering if it is gift wrapped on the thighs of some latin virgins? and delivered by well trained semi nude amazons (would explain the price though!)

shakes head, swears loudly and wonders why i am not in the international freight business!
