Bad luck Chris, know how you feel, joined that club last Sunday, as the others say if you can talk about it you are a doing OK, after a day or two it does shit you, but you can not turn back the clock, mine is a write off at least yours sounds fixable.
I am going to buy another one this week possibly a CBR900RR ( OK Neka time to chime in)

re: Baptised in the hall of crash
Thanks for the great words of support.
Well i expected alot worse being the next day. Other than being a bit stiff, bruised... all is good. I however did go out for my brithday last night and did my best to drink the bar dry... so that explains the headaches and those drums
Of course i have pictures, will post them up probably tommorrow (you sickos wanting to see destruction and carnage..... love it
The damage is purely cosmetic, the most thing that im upset about is that my shiny, unscratched titanium exhaust is now dented and scratched... bugger.
Dave i will get in contact with you over the next few weeks to see what contacts you have and some advice on rejetting the carbies. The damage is purely cosmetic with mainly fairings scratched, broken etc and engine covers, indicator is gone (bring on the flush mounts) and the mirror recieved some hits. Scratches to the frame which will polish up nicely
and while i no longer care about the re sale value of the bike i will give her a fenderectomy, dynojet kit, air filter etc
To be honest i expected alot more damage for the speed and surface conditions....... but im not complaining
Oh and now i get to get a new helmet.
ronster it is quiet funny how the body actually does the boot up sequence and you are quiet aware that your doing it.
Then ready for the ride to PI for moto gp. All is good..... bring on modifications

Welcome to the club
bad luck though, good to hear you're ok.
Hope your time without a bike isn't too painful, it's driving me nuts at the moment.

Glad to hear you're in one piece, mate!
It's getting more and more slippery around Buderoo
Bad news about the scoot... but if you're after a good priced helmet, the Helmet Warehouse in Yagoona has a bit of a sale going on Shoeis...

the weather is getting damn cold (only hit 27 the other day!) and the tires are taking longer to warm up, getting a few slips and slides where normally they didn't..... be careful out there boys and girls
Yep I totally agree.!! I don't think it even got to 20 here yesterday.??
As club owner, now I've crashed, no one else is allowed to...
