Hi all ...
I am 40 yrs old i got my learners when i was 25 but never got a bike and never road a bike on the road, a year later i got my P's and again never road a bike on the road. I just never got around to buying a bike because i got married had kids bought house and cars and financially was not in the position to afford a bike.
Years went by and now im 40 nearly 41 and i just bought a second hand well looked after custom zx9r, does anyone have any advise or pointers. I live in the Pakenham area i have no friends who ride and would like to meet fellow riders for ride days and could do with some pointers from experienced riders.

Welcome mate. I had many years away and for me an advanced riders course, and a couple of track days with a coach is well worth the money to not only learn some skills but to gain confidence and learn what your bike can do. Have fun, stay safe

Yep definetly go and do some training it may save you from a world of pain, once you have done that go and do a few trackdays to get to know your bike.I have been riding pretty consistently for 35 years and still learning all the time.badruss wrote:Welcome mate.
