er6nl ECU restriction
Just wondering if anyone out there has the fix for the 2012/13 ECU restriction on these bikes. Not saying I'm gonna do it as for the registration and insurance issues stemming from making mods to LAMS bikes but just wanted to know for when I have finished the first 12 months. Might pay to just resell the bike as is and upgrade. But still want to know how to change for interest sakes. A penny for your thoughts.

Are they ECU restricted or just a screw limiting the throttle input?

Both. Screw in throttle plate and plug under tail. Unplug and remove screw and you're good to go.

Sounds like a job for the weekend. Need to ride to work tomorrow. Don't want wires hanging off the bike on the way. Thanks for the feedback. I have read varying ideas on this from the older models through to new but thought that the ECU may have needed changing out on the new model which makes it cost prohibitive

I thought you were going to wait the twelve months out.
