The new one looks as if it was designed in the 80's, and the old or original one looks like an improvement to the suggested new one. Make sense?

One thing to Remember peeps, this logo has been designed with screen printing in mind.
I would assume sharp edges and Multi colours would reduce the quality of the prints on our shirts.

I didn't want to say anything but seeing I'm not the only one - I'm also not a fan. Soon as there is a 'cartoon' it starts to look cheesy.

As a reference I quite like it where you have just a shape - hardly more than a line that suggests the picture, and then text. The one of the car groups that I am active in has this:

which I think is pretty good. The line shows two of the generations of CRX - I actually cut the left shape off so on my car is only the right hand car and text...

Just a thought. If I get a mo, I'll have a go at doing one.

I think this is the first re-design of the logo in 8 years ? Time for an update

if you think this is too soon - you should try being on Canberra Riders, run by IT specialists - in 6 years that forum has had about 8 different banner headings, 6 or 7 different styles of forum 'display' and it still gets updated regularly ..... it was almost like " shit its been 5 minutes since we had the last style update, lets think about the next one !! " well thats what it seemed like to me anyway.
