When I bought my ZRX, it had a full Akra and nothing else. The power and torque it had was impressive for a standard bike with a pipe. When I put the pods, stage 3 jet kit and timing advancer on, it picked up only 2hp of peek power on the dyno! There was a big increase in bottom end and mid range and the difference in acceleration and responsiveness was huge in comparison and very noticeable (ie. wheelied like a bastard when I twisted the throttle), but the peek power on the dyno sheet still only increased by a couple of hp. I wouldn't be surprised if you did get an 18hp difference in peek power just by running this exhaust.
