Hahaha gotta be the shortest distance a bike has been ridden before crashing ON TRACK?

This reminds me of a learner I saw last week. Had 2 GoPro's, one on helmet, one on bike and could hardly ride. Unsure of starts and stops, cornered like the edge of a 50c piece, and yet he'd put all that pressure on himself by buying and decking himself out with cameras, instead of concentrating on riding the thing. :?

Can't say I've beaten that but I did lay down my brand new GSXR750 under a mile from the dealer in 2008!
Wet roads though but it still dented my pride for a while!

Reminds me of the guy at Mallala when I went over there last year.

Out of the pits and half way round the first right hander.
On the first lap of the first session.
Was pitting in the same garage as me.

What's that got to do with tyre shine? He crashed because they were cold, not because they were new.

Not quite as impressive as the guy who crashed exiting the pits at EC a couple of years back.

I'll never forget that! Very impressive (in a bad way).

Did the engine cut out in that clip? Hard to tell with the music. If so, what would've caused it? I seem to recall witnessing other crashes where the engine dies (even when there's no engine damage). Is it fuel delivery (no fuel getting to the engine because of the angle the bike is on), or something else?

Tipover sensor thingy cuts the ignition. Not sure about fuel though.
