They've been at it for years now. There, Reefton and also the Go Road.

Re: What's lurking on the mountains ...
hmmmm
ground hog day ....same ol same ol
wsbk ...moto gp ...long weeekends ...easter ....xmas etc etc
funny though they think by continuing this asault on the motorcycling community
that there may be a differnt outcome ?
apparently if you pursue the same direction relentlessly ...and expect a differnt outcome
this can can be diagnosed as lunacy ..... shit even the ken lay was busted for speeding
reckon mark webber was on the money a couple years back after the F1 ....NANNY STATE
retorical question : WHY DONT THE VICS RIDE ... GO FIGURE
anyhow looks like we must improve our map reading abilities and exercise our minds to locate better roads
and keep the rozers on their toes , obviously by targeting the best roads , they cannot be on every road right
anyhow it wont stop me from riding the black or the reefton ....
or any other road for that matter ....albeit less often
and dont ask me about 80klm limits either .ffs
reckon thats not entrapment right there
...shit thats first gear without trying
in search of cop infested FREE , revenue rasing roads
cheers mick

Re: What's lurking on the mountains ...
GRAFFITI vandals have exposed the location of one of Victoria Police's secret speed traps.
The Herald Sun this week revealed camouflaged cops were hiding in thick bush to nab speeding motorists in the Yarra Ranges and elsewhere.
A person armed with a spray can has painted a pig's head next to the word "cops" and an arrow pointing to the exact spot where police hide with their radar guns on the Black Spur section of the Maroondah Highway.
Pigs' heads and large dollar signs have also been sprayed as warning signs on both sides of the road just before the concealed speed trap.
The Herald Sun this week revealed almost 1000 motorists had already been booked at the site and that police had vowed to continue using the undercover tactic.
Victoria Police acting superintendent Michael West yesterday said the criminal damage at the Yarra Ranges site was disappointing as the camouflaged cop tactic was being used to help save lives.
"Since the operation was introduced in the Yarra Ranges, injury collisions involving motorcycles have dropped by 38 per cent," he said.
"Victoria Police makes no apologies for using innovative tactics to try and change road user behaviour and reduce road trauma."
Recently retired detective Sen-Sgt Neil Beeson said he, and many other serving and retired officers, were disappointed police had stooped to using such "sneaky tactics".
The 38-year police veteran said the force had to have the public onside if it was to work effectively.
