Well, my plans backfire a bit and then not so much... you see, I ate myself back into the 80's (82Kg) during the holidays but then broke my collarbone on a stupid crash at Wakefield on the 27th of Dec and since then I dropped 6Kg simply because I'm too lazy to cook or eat with just one hand!

I do have to give up coffee though... I love it to death but I need to at least drop it to a cup a day.

I heard Dr Karl say that chololate milk is the perfect after-workout recovery drink because of the energy and protein it has. ;)
Problem is that I drink heaps before workout and then don't do the workout...

well done all....

after suffering an ongoing foot tendon injury, and several courses of steroids (injected & oral- not my choice!) have put on *some* weight.

apart from swimming, anyone got ideas for exercise that is not going to aggravate my foot further ( currently got a Norplan patch for the pain)
I used to have a handle on Life,
but it fell off.

Suggestions..
Try Yoga. I went to my first class today ($4 a session  ), but Im told Thai Chi is VERY low impact and high exertion. You can teach yourself, just use good old google for a routine. Or look up whats going on in your area. The first session may be free. There is always alternatives if you're unable to do some moves
Wii Fit Plus (im loving it) very low impact, helping me with strength and balance
If appropriate sand weights for legs/arms - put on foot and sit in chair lifting up and down

Hope this helps a little.. Ill ask my physio next week and let you know what they suggest 8)
