Friggin' Squids...

Post by Sparks_333 »

Riding on Old Windsor road the other day I came across a young rider on a new CBR250, black with a shiny L plate attached to the rear, wearing shorts and no protective gear but for an rjays lid.

As soon as I passed him (riding at the speed limit) he looked over at me, took off and started chopping lanes, cutting off adjacent cars and not even indicating as they slowed to avoid him.

After seeing him do this about three times I pulled up next to him at the lights for the following verbatim exchange:

Sparks: Are your blinkers broken or what champ?
Squid: Nah bro..
Sparks: Well f#@%^*g use them! You're riding like a total dickhead and making everybody on two wheels look like shit!
Squid:
Sparks: Pull your friggin head in, stop cutting off other people on the road and start riding properly!
Squid: :(
Sparks:

I am not so self righteous to have a go at him for not wearing gear - even though I am getting sick of picking people and their bikes up off the road where bits of their skin remains attached to the surface, but I really have no patience for people who ride like this. These riders are the reason why I have to listen to people say, "all bike riders are idiots".

So if you see a squid being squiddy, I encourage you to go up and remind them that the rest of the bike riding community does not think they are as awesome as they do.

Quite the contrary really...

I've attempted to change peoples mentality on gear, after learning my lesson. From what I've seen people only tend to learn the hard way.
Responses I've gotten so far
I wont crash <- I used to say that lol......
Mind your own business bro
think your a sick cunt with ur moto gp gear?

Alot of hostile responses.
All though i only managed to convince 1 person, who im family freinds with. After he dropped his bike stationary after a ride. Who managed to get his leg caught and dragged bout a rulers length. Wasnt to seriously but had a few scratches.

cruising through Newcastle the other afternoon and pull up to a set of light when a rather attractive lady pulls next to me....wearing some jeans gloves helmet but a boob tube?. L plate gleaming on the back and looking happy as punch. I lifted the visor and indicated that a jacket might be better. I get the finger as she rides off. A little further down the road I find the poor miss in a huddle on the ground with a van looking like is had swipped her and the bike. I stop to help as you do......but just stood there looking as her legs and hands that look ok from the fall, but no where to be see is the boob tube...just boobs. I tried didn't I? I had a towel on my bike to which I was going to use when I got to the beach but gave it the the lady instead thinking she would make better use of it

Ha ha ha

Apart from a couple, your all a bunch of fucking anal soft cock nerds with a fear of fucking everything. FFS, when I started riding, our summer gear was always runners, T-shirt, footy shorts and a horn looking lid. Winter was a pair of jeans, jeans jacket, riggers gloves, RM Williams, some garbage bags and newspapers all topped off with a horn looking lid. I'm fucking still here, so go get yourselves a life. Your the generation who is grooming and preparing the next generation; making a path for compulsory Hi Vis Clothing and other restrictions of choice.......... If I wanna squid, I'll fucking squid.
