For many years, the Swannies have been the envy of many Victorian-based AFL clubs. They always seem to be able to bring the best out of whoever they draft, no matter what state or team they have been drafted from.....the Swannies have always played up at the pointy end of the competition and always send out competitive teams that play good hard footy.......

There is a very good reason for this.

For many years now, the Swannies have enforced a simple recruiting rule for their club - its called the NO DICKHEADS rule.

Basically - the list manager for the Swans ensures that NO DICKHEADS are recruited to the Swans - regardless of what sort of reputation as a player they may have had at their old team or previous teams. This rule of NO DICKHEADS means that the Swans players are rarely in the news for being dickheads. They simply work together as a really good footy team, playing the ball and not the man and have enjoyed a lot of success since this rule was implemented. Clearly, this rule was not around when Warwick Capper was drafted....

Now KSRC does not have a 'list manager' as such - but we do have Wattie. I would like to thank Wattie for enforcing the NO DICKHEADS rule within KSRC, which has ensured that at least 2 massive dickheads have been removed from the KSRC playing list in the last couple of days. Well done mate, the team will be a lot better off without these 2.

Looking forward to a great season for the KSRC team in 2013.....

Remarks I am sure he regrets.

Fair dues Marty..& those of us who are reletively new don't know the history of previous disagreements or personality clashes..I've always had a pisstake with BG & enjoyed the banter with the boy. However that comment was totally out of order full stop...It needed an unreserved appology. U cant blame gos for wanting a toe to toe. Nothing ever said in here could ever justify a derogatory comment/response about someone's family like that in my opinion.

We've all had a fair share of online potshots and jokes. Its normally all meant in jest and most take it in good humour. Some get personal, others take it and hand it out again later on. Generally speaking most of us have met in person and shared a laugh before we go dishing out the dirt here. Ultimately what was said shows either a lack of maturity or a form of mental illness because no-one could ever justify it. He did not regret it one bit. Better still him and his mate wanted to take it further.

Mate given his history over the 12 months since he joined - quite frankly I would not like to know him personally. You can tell a real lot about a person from the way they conduct themselves in an open public forum. It is also pretty easy to form an opinion based on this conduct. It is blatantly clear from the way that he rubbed a lot of long-standing members up the wrong way - that the bloke has a seriously overblown sense of self-importance. To put it mildly - he is a grade A wanker.

Well he had plent of opportunity to apologise but decided not to and basically said the whole place can go and get fucked. He regrets nothing. He is not above showing a bit of humility - the rest of us have at some point or other. Showing a bit of humility would have made a huge difference to the whole unsavoury episode.

Why would anyone question how he got to that point ? His personal issues are his alone - having said that, there are members here that most of us would walk over red-hot coals to help out and you are right at the top of that list. BG on the other hand - started with zero credibility and only went downhill from there. My last post prior to the Goatgate conspiracy was actually trying to help him with some advice about the RYM series at Wakefield........and look where that got me. You understood the ouzo/greek/goat connection - in fact that Youtube clip is a classic where Zorba professes his love for his male dancing partner - this is why I posted it. It had a connection. It was relevant and it was funny.

His comments have forever banished him from this place and rightly so. There are no excuses for coming out with the type of shit he posted - none at all. There is little to be gained by going into bat for him now.

Gos, you once asked me to open my mind to a certain forum member, who had not only been abusive towards me, but also threatened me publicly and via PM's. I Listened. He and I are now friends. I'll just leave it at that.

I am not defending the final comments he made and never have, neither in here, nor to him. I will however say that he was given a lot of shit from the get go and if you actually knew him Gos, you may think differently. Sometimes, people say stupid things in anger, fuelled on alcohol about peoples wives or mothers, without any real intent. I am sure you have flung one at someone at one time or another, going over the line perhaps about a family member or similar without intent to hurt, more as a bit of old school piss take........ I will leave it at that.

Once again, before the barrage starts, I am not defending his final comment, I am merely suggesting that he never had a chance. Go back with an arbitrary mind and reread his posts from early on and you will see that it has been a historical fact that he has copped a lot. If you knew him and how he speaks and who he is, you would see his previous comments the way they come out of his mouth and not the conceited way you think it is. I will leave it at that.
