I have a Cox guard on my bike, not 100% happy with it as it rubs on the plastic sheild under the steering stem. Some have cut the guard to clear this.

just be careful how you mount up your radiator guard. In an ironic twist - MickLC had a hole worn into his radiator - by the guard ! - not sure if he was using a Radguard or Hoffinator Industries 3000. I have a Ponti Special on the MFP12 and it has lasted well, survived the Leap of Faith 2010 and not worn any holes in anything. Especially my wallet :D

Have a radguard on my 2010 ZX6R, easy fit up looks good, she runs about 1 degree warmer though.

We have also had Ponti specials on three of our bikes, never a problem with them! :kuda:

Why is it I imagine your Rad guard is a bit of aluminium checker plate?

My Radgaurd has been on from new from the previous owner, the edges are quite thick and it dosen't sit as flush as you would want for say a naked bike.

No mods to fit it on a 08 Zx10. If I had to do one again the aluminium mesh and Cable tie action would work just as good.

But the thing is tuff, here is what mine looks like after 40,00km's my Radiator is in pretty good condition.

Proper RadGuard, I wasn't real happy when it happened but it had been on there for quite a few years and I reckon save me from a few big holes in that time. It was one of the corner welds sticking out a bit, just managed to be in a bad spot to rub a pinhole in one of the cores.
