Agree what a dodgy turn. To stop on a bend like that on a known riding road was bloody dangerous, lucky someone didn't come around that bend and bin it into him.
From their footage it would take about half an hour to work out a reasonably accurate max speed by measuring how far they travelled in a second, 140km/h = 39m/s

I think the cop doing the uturn was not as some make out in a dangerous position. From the camera angles it was nearing PITS which is a relatively open section. Certainly seen much worse. I think it would only be an issue if you were doing 140kph!

Yeah it seems safer to do a handbraky over unbroken lines, stall the car accross the traffic lanes & then tear off like a nutter to catch two guys that were only skylarking. Riding with suspended licences is dumb, but what the copper did was dangerous in the extreem!!!! The bikes on the other hand were only in danger of maybe comming off & hurting themselfs.

but how do you stall an automatic highway patrol car? maybe the handbrake got stuck up (where, i dunno)?
