Looks like we can't bag out Yamaha for making pianos anymore.
Found this in Woolworths, Kawasaki moving into the bottom end of the market....

Re: Kawasaki competing with Yamaha and Suzuki
Oh yes they make trains too
Japanese bullet trains to be precise, 217 MPH ( that's 349kmh)....no wonder really when you look at their sport bikes
paste:
Rail-happy Japan, a country that probably takes great joy in watching America's embarrassingly slow and fitful adoption of high-speed and maglev trains, will be graced with new breed of green, 200+ mph trains by 2010. Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the designer of these new trains, isn't promoting speed as the main selling point—Japan railways have seen much faster hardware fly down the tracks before—but instead is emphasizing its environmental benefits.

Re: Kawasaki competing with Yamaha and Suzuki
Yea i dont understand why a company would lend their name to obviously shite products... great way to run their reputation through the mud.
But I too have seen and heard how big KHI is. Looking foward to getting back to Japan someday and touring around. Like to do a bullet trip but I'd much rather a driving tour

I don’t care how liberated this world becomes – a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume – and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.

KHI Ram air was a first on any bike (ZZR1100?) and was assisted by the Aerospace engineers who had a huge influence in the design of the ZX12, ZZR14 and a few others.robracer wrote: Wow...... there is an Aerospace division :-0
just sayin
