My lad, Casey was standing on the pit wall outside Marc Marquez's garage watching Marquez give an interview to a Spanish TV reporter.

Casey wanted to ask Marquez if he could have his hat. I told him that if he wanted it, he would have to yell out to Marquez for it. Suddenly shy, he tells me that I have to do it. I insist that he has to do it. At this time Marquez turns around and walks off.

After a long day in the sun and realising he has missed his opportunity, Casey bursts into tears.

Marquez's Dad sees this and comes over to see what is wrong. I tell him and he tells us to wait at the fence.

Mr Marquez returns soon after, with a Spanish news cameraman in tow and dresses Casey in a Marc Marquez World Champion team T-shirt.

I think the Marquez's just won themselves an Aussie fan.
