Post by shadowzx9 »

Mornin,

I've locateda front end forms c model, yokes and forks, 250 bucks+ 155 shipping,

Having never done this before, can anyone pass on some advice on any gotchas?

Customs duty, taxes I'm not aware of?

Much appreciated

Yeah all good..I've ordered heaps, no probs..ordered astar's textile jacket last Saturday morn turned up on the Friday 6days from the states...Havent ordered anything over 1k yet so not sure what shakes there. My 2 Bros exhaust was $400 cheaper than the local dealers price..If you use reputable firms..good web sites etc & paypal your on a winner..I've ordered about 45 things of late shadow no issue...Your really well protected with paypal..

G'day mate

If its from a Cnut on EBay with the moniker highrush46 run a mile he's a filthy scamming arsehole. Other than that I've bought other bits from wreckers in the US and they've been really good. keep it under $1000 incl freight otherwise Gerry Harvey and the Customs arse wipes will come after you.

I buy a fair few car parts from the US..from well known parts suppliers (for stuff I simply cannot get here)
and they are all pretty good . Just watch the postage . Some suppliers use UPS, not USPS and the quoted figure
is $60 when it should be $10... And as mentioned above, keep the costs away from $1000, otherwise the tax man
and customs want some
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!
