I got a dirt bike too lol, 08 yz450 that's just plain suicidal, but great fun and good for endurance training

One question I gotta ask, are the aus zx6 the same as us or uk, this is more so for loading power commander maps I'm chasing this info

If u keep the headers and run a slipon w link pipe, dig out the Cat with a chisel and hammer. They are prone to melt when raced apparently. I did and used a US map recommended for my pipe. The standard map was close but I ended up with a dyno tune cause of the cat not being there. Ask away Blurr here raced one and mine wobbles around during ridedays :lol:

@fireyrob
I bought a akra link pipe today and already have a Leo Vince gp pro pipe on it, done 400kms and the thing sounds like a superbike already haha, and I have heard bout the whole melting thing before

So far reverse shift has been done
woodcraft clip ons, vortex fuel lid, rear sets, and pcv, ignition unit(for launch control and pit lane limiter) and LCD display screen are being ordered this week) then lock wire and do everything else in the next month or two

Looks like your well on your way to having it completely sorted Nathan! When its all setup Pics Plz!!! Keep us informed how you go :)

Suspension wise the stock stuff is a great start and I dont think Ill ever need more expensive stuff. The rear shock has a heavy spring which is right for me but was light on the valving. Mine was too soft and ran wide on exit. Now it runs true :) The forks I had the top out springs replaced heavier and it stopped alot of shudder under hard braking. Im 95kg if that helps.

Yeh I'm bordering on 70 kgs hahah
Suspension wise, I'm doing gold valves and then correct springs for my weight, the rear feels like it is too hard for me
Then it's a matter of setting it up when I can get out to mallala or even go play at PI for a day or two

Hi and welcome aboard. There are a few SA members you should hook up with - just avoid Neka, Seiko, Plas, Aardvark, Jonno and Possum.

I think that leaves one or 2....
