thoughts on these filters,are they worth it?

they are good because you can clean them and throw em back in.

performance wise, its not much difference

You can clean just about any OEM style foam filter & throw it back in again too, Or for the ridiculous price of a K&N you can buy 2 OEM style UNI or similar brand name filters, The sparrow fart CLAIMED? extra performance is not really worth the price + many people & reviews & forum posts will tell you that K&N filters actually let fine dust through, They are a big no no on off road even though they make them for many dirt bikes

Oem filters are paper. So besides blowing out with air, you can't clean them.
Foam filters are ok too, just keep them oiled.
