DID YOU KNOW
DID YOU KNOW......The SA Government is considering changing the Motorcycle Laws so that you can't get your learners until you have had your cage license for a year!!!! That would certainly discriminate against people like me, who wasn't interested in cars and only got my cage license at 25. It would be another step toward phasing Motorcycles out completely...which as the older riders would remember....they suggested year's ago

Re: DID YOU KNOW
why dont they go the other way; make cagers get a bike licence first
- means the smidsy campaign is done
- think of the money they could reap from licences
- the darwin principal thinning the population of dickheads
- guaranteed resale prices of lams bikes
- jobs for the motorcycle industry
its win win!

Re: DID YOU KNOW
The way I hear you ride maybe it might be a good thing
Seriously I think it should be the other way round. Who comes up with this idea? If it had merit great but on what basis, what credibility would this make sense? If you can prove that it will reduce accidents then great. So I take the same concept, before I give my kids push bikes should they get billy carts?
Coming from SA nothing surprises me, wasn't some knuckle dragger mp from Adelaide in the paper today who suggested that because gay marriage will be okay we will accept bestiality, maybe it was wishful thinking on his part

Re: DID YOU KNOW
At least they are talking making these bloody cage licensed scooter riders learn some shit, about time ffs!
It seems a few people think it should be the other way around.
I think being a rider does make you a better driver, so the bike first makes more sense.......sense from a Pollie
Yeh that STUPID Pollie offended millions of kiwi's

I don’t care how liberated this world becomes – a man will always be judged by the amount of alcohol he can consume – and a woman will be impressed, whether she likes it or not.

I believe it should be a year on a bike 1st. Imagine the fatalities!
Would sort it the traffic problems. Only half as many cars on the road

All muslims should be given a motorbike (a virgin one, unridden by anyone else... so they say) at 16. They are the all-mighty and innocent in gods eyes... they'll not be punished then! haha...
