Question is will the mechanic let me stay there and watch. I tried this when i first put the bike for a service(2.5k) at bikebiz granville they said for "insurance reasons" we can't do that. So not to sure about that. If Glen allow's it i'll more then happy to watch the action. As far as the Advanced riding course, it is in my crosshairs. I am waiting to purchase some crash nobs (anyone know of any that are cheaper then $299) before heading there as, this is my only mode of transport and don't want to make it a write of incase i come off.

I did look up some aimed at the track and some aimed at the road. Question is if i go with the road one would those specific skill sets be of any use on the track? or would i have to do road and track seperately?.

Do a stay upright advanced skills course. Road craft is important as it can lessen your chance of crashing. Superbike school and the like is about going faster, not being a better road rider (which is what you should be aiming for at the mo).

I think Superbike School is more about riding better and in more control, not just faster. I would recommend doing the level one course first because it teaches you the basics about riding and there's no point understanding road craft if you can't ride.

I think he needs to learn how to stay alive in traffic.
Not how carve up the twisters safely.

Stay upright all the way.

Isn't HART a good one too? Even if it's promoted by Honda?

i would recomend stay upright over HART, ive had dealings with HART when i moved here and knocked back a job with them, didnt agree with a lot of their teaching style.

Lol hell no, I had plenty of room and plenty of time to stop but i didn't. Went to a mechanic today. He was wondering how i did a stoppie considering the brakes seem and have the feel like it were glazed. So not to sure, he said no point trying to fix them as the brake pads are almost gone.

The only track you should be thinking about is your TRACK RECORD try not putting it on the deck for or let's say a fortnight....

Ordered these metal sintered ones in also, ordered ceramic one's. Which ever comes first will get put on first i guess. By the look's of it. It'll be the ceramics.

Ceramic? Does this mean organic stock pads? If so use the the sintered pads. They will have better braking characteristics but wear the discs faster but who cares :kuda: .

Why order 2 set of pads?
