has anyone used a shock sock if so with what result are they worth putting on?

I've got one on my ohlins shock, keeps a lot of rocks out of it and last time I took it off it looked like new inside. I didn't think it would overheat in summer though...?

cheers icey cold I took my penske of bike going to sell it put the old shock back on won't worry bout using sock on it .U don't know anyone who wants a penske 8983 for a zx14?

naa sorry. good luck. I still don't get the comment of the shock overheating... I don't think it's going to cook inside the shocktube
