Post by nickjt »

Anyone over there crossing over here to NZ to do the Burt Munroe Challenge in November? I live in Auckland NZ and will be riding my 2003 zx12-r approximately 1500 ks to the bottom of the country (Invercargill) to be a spectator in the 4 days of events. I would be happy to share the trip with anyone interested???

I was looking at "trade me" the other day, our equivalent to your "e-bay" Looking at bikes (as usual) and i saw a 94 i think it was? ZZR1100, was looking a bit battle scarred and tired, but it was still going strong at 159,000ks!!! and then soon after that an add for a 97? ZX9R, with 130,000ks!!! well if that aint enough to get all those guys off their dirty old suzuki's and the like, then they are obviously beyond help! Yeah, bucket list! i've been talking about, and thinking about this event for several years now, and it's time to stop the talk! and walk the walk! so, this is the year!!! Roll on November! Two weeks on Two wheels!!! yeeeehaaaaa
